Here in the Chicago land area I've seen about 3 or 4 of them now at the local drag strip and all have run in the 15.1 range. Mostly stock mind you. Their 60' times have been in the 2.1 range which seems high to me considering that they are all wheel drive. That truck must be 5,000 lbs. +

Yeah ,watch out for the spray

My buddy has a silvy SS w/ a 100 dry shot and runs high-mid 12's all day w/ 4:10 rear end and slicks

Inspect the truck before running

good luck

SS Silverado

The stock Lightning will win in a head to head race. However, if the SS is spraying beware of their aggressive lauch. They are 4WD. The wheels won't brake loose like the Lightning. It is hard to outlaunch any SS period. My mechanic has a sleeper SS with 150 shot of NOS and he smokes Lightnings day and night at the track. He runs high 11s all day. Just be careful with these SS because I know what they are capable of doing. The Lightnings have an advantage on the top end of the race track.

Silverado SS I think is what 345 hp and weighs in a whole lot more than a Lightning, you do the math! Stock for Stock I think it is a no brainer that the SS will stand for SuperSlow........
