frees up about 5-10 HP at the rear and increases mileage about 1.5-2 MPG

Thumbs up

I get an average of an additional 30-35 miles per tank full. Actually, the fan seldom runs unless the a/c is on. Good mod!

I got a solid, consistent 1 mpg increase on my last truck.

I have a friend that put an electric fan on, went to the track and picked up NOTHING. I don't believe in the 5-10 RWHP number or else it would show up at the track to the tune of .5-1.0 MPH.

As for gas mileage, since our motors cruise at 1750-2000 RPM with a forward air flow going in the front (negates fan drag), I don't understand MPG increases beyond perhaps what Rich noted above.

I'm not a believer....too expensive for no return.
