I am having trouble understanding Johnny's instructions for the power cooler install. Could someone please explain the install for me.

It would be easier if you posted what ?'s you have.

It is pretty simple. Mount the cooler, run the lines to an existing intercooler line, and cut it. Put the two lines going to the powercooler in the place where you cut the line so that the fluid flows threw the cooler then back to the stock system.

I just need to know how the hoses are run. And there is nothing in the instuctions about cutting anything. And it came with one new hose.

Hum; well I got mine used so I am not sure as to JL's suggestions. But, for mine I mounted it in the bed. Ran the lines(you will have one going to and one from the cooler) Then figured out which intercooler line was coming from the heat exchanger and going to the intercooler itself and cut it down at the bottom of the truck. Put a coupler in it, and hooked it up so that the water runs from the heat exchanger to the cooler and then back to the intercooler.

I figured that the heat exchanger would take out the heat first, then the cooler would make it as cold as possible before it went to the intercooler.

Smart move and if you run it the way it is stock, the cold water coming out of the cooler tank will be heated by the heat exchanger before it goes thru the intercooler. The heat exchanger is exactly that, if you have a 85 degree day and run 100 degree water thru it, the heat exchanger will get it as close to 85 as it can, if you have 50 degree water, the heat exchanger will warm it as close to 85 as it can.

If you had a drag only truck you could benefit from taking off the heat exchanger and just run the cooler. But kindof hard to drive around and keep ice in the box.

I will explain the most effiecent way to run the lines, starting at the tank mounted in the back of the bed:

You will have a feed line going from your powercooler directly into the intercooler under the super charger(Top hose on the intercooler), from the intercooler(lower hose) you should have a line going directly into the pump, then from the pump it will go into the heat exchanger and out of heat exchanger and back to the tank in the bed of your truck.
