And fear, I finally got my multi engine land pilots certificate endorsement today(and the new one is a card, like a drivers license, not the paper thing I used to have), and if that don't scare you, you've never seen me drive!

Congrats Gregg! I knew there was a reason I liked you (besides that you have no use for Jim of JDM also). I have my single engine land but no multi yet. What do you fly most of the time? I have a PA-28-235. Not the fastest plane in the world but it will lift anything you can close the doors on.

I have 2100 hours total, most of it in OH-58s from the early eighties, I quit the Gaurd in 89 and hadn't flown in more than 10 years when I started again.

Cool to know Greg. I work at a Flight School at the local airport. My buddies dad owns it, and keeps trying to get me to start flying. If I had the 5,000$+ it takes to just get a single engine pilot rating, i'd go for it. But since I don't, everytime he asks when im gonna start flying I ask if hes gonna pick up the bill. One of these days I will..... Its badass to be able to just get in a plane and fly wherever you wish whenever you wish. Good luck to ya...

I've only got my SEL, multi's are just too expensive to rent. I only go up for sightseeing and trips to Havasu and Vegas, plus the occasional $100 hamburger.
Nothing impresses the ladies more than flying them somewhere for dinner.
