As promised, I went out after dark to take a few pic of my AutoMeter Phantom boost gauge. I can now understand why there are are no good pics

I put the green "sock" that's supplied over the bulb, and its a close match to the eye. Now the camera is a different story.

First, I tried with the flash...........complete white-out

Then I tried without the flash.........could see the speedo and the boost gauge in the viewfinder. But this happened

I know there is no useful information for you, but wanted to post anyway, so you would know I didn't forget. Now off to the sofa to have some brews and watch the race. Work in the morning, as in OVERTIME

The Phanton seriers gauges come with a red and green bulb cover, so you have 3 choices during installation.

white face during the day

and

white face at night or
green face at night or
red face at night
