Where is my boost?

Ok some of you guys may know but for you others i installed a 04 OEM lightning motor and blower assembly into my 2001 4x4 supercrew.
Mods include:
Apten ported eaton
4lb lower
dynatech long tubes
volant air intake
90mm maf
phenolic spacer
denso it22
bosch 255lph fuel pump
and other things but the reason i listed those is because i am only seeing max WOT boost of about 10lbs is this right? Now my tune is rich, rich enough to through a rich code and keep my autometer a/f gauge in the middle of the rich area. I will get it leaned out but is that where the rest of my boost went or did i loose it due to the long tubes?? I didn't do the boost bypass valve disconnect because i don't run the quarter and i figured i could use the efficency. So what do you guys think? Oh by the way its got about 10" of lift and 38" tall tires coming, can you say lightning monster truck, check out my gallery for details! Thanks to all that will respond i have hung out here and learned a great deal while doing this build up!!

I'd say that the "low" boost is from the long tubes. I don't think anyone has ever gained boost from LT's. Most everyone who has them will tell ya that they lost boost afterward. I think that those big tires would help build boost. I' love too see some pics of your truck. Do ya have any?

I run a four lb. lower, Apten port job, and have long tubes. My Autometer boost gauge shows 16 lbs. of boost at shift RPM's (around 5600). Something is wrong!

Could it be my rich condition? or the boost by-pass valve stuck open some? anything else i should check? The truck runs good other than that and being that i can't find anyone local with a lightning or dyno i don't have much to compare to other than you guys!

Adjust the by-pass valve to factory specs and go from there.

I suppose since it's a transplant and the blower has been off? There are now a dozen areas that just may not be sealing good?
Heads to intake gaskets, intake to mid plate gasket, mid plate to blower gasket, tube/hose on bottom of lower intake, boost guage line, cracked casting, ect..

IMO with a 4#, ported blower, and long tubes you ought to be seeing at least 11-12psi at 5000 rpms even on a hot summer day.

Well it is hot here 90 F and the humidity is about 75% most of the time UUGGGHH!! I will check for sealing surfaces but everything was installed with new gaskets. What are the specs for the by-pass valve? As of now i think that might be the culprit because i did have to remove it to remove the blower for porting! Could this lack of boost be causing my rich condition or vise versa? Again THANKS guys i know some don't care for nonLightning posts here but this will help me abunch!!!!

I will almost guarantee the intake to head gasket is sealing as long as you not leaking and/or burning antifreeze but your other gaskets could be the culprit. Most likely is the boost actuator. Check it out. Hope you get it figured out.
