Autometer Gauge Cluster Update

Been sending e-mails around. They won't modify their current f-150 setup for our application, at least not anytime soon. The good thing is the cluster uses the PCM to operate the gauges. So, for those of us how only wanted to change the speedo we just need to figure out how to remove the graphics and replace them with the 140 mph version. I'm assuming the graphics are silk screen but not sure. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? As for getting the current unit any autometer retailer should be able to order it. So, any comments, ideas, somebody what to try it? I don't know anything about silk screen graphics so someone will have to lead the way on this part. Thanks.

Sorry Red-Rocket,
I didn't mean to hijack you're thread. Yeah those gauges look really nice, hopefully autometer will ammend their decision and make a set to fit the lightning(with proper speeds). Do you know how much they cost?
Sincerely,
Bryan

Autometer gauge cluste p/n ATM-7010 can be had for $437.00 from Summit Racing. Anyone want to try to modify the graphics? Any more ideas on how to change the speedo to 140 mph version? Thanks.

Why can't you just use the 150 speedo and get it recalibrated. I think the speedo can be recalibrated maybe with a chip. I heard of people getting it done for aftermarket gears and larger wheels I believe, I could just be dreaming too. Worth looking into if you are interested. I am sure a tuner could answer that question. Good Luck

Simco e-mailed me and said that they will have a Lightning version of their setup by sometime in Nov. They make Autometer's gauge cluster so hopefully once Simco makes it Autometer will be more willing to have Simco make one in their version (i.e. with orange pointers, Autometer logo, etc.).

Awesome! I am glad someone is going to do something finally. I think it will look nice(without the flames). I will wait for a further update.
Russ.
