I got a black one off eBay a few months ago, one will show up in time. I've seen them sell for $50+ in black.

Just get any color and paint it. Mine was yellow. Very easy to do since the body is seperate anyway.

Thanks for the tip. I went and ordered one in Black. $22 after S&H. There are some silver and a few black left so if you want a black one you better hurry.

I've got several spares that I intend to paint some day. The one thing I notice in your pics is you have all the the badge stickers on it, even after painting. May I ask where you got replacement stickers, since the ones on the models don't come off without being destroyed. That's really the only thing holding me up.

Thanks,
Tom

The badges are decals and are not on the trucks when you buy a kit (unassembled). I am at 8 of the 1/21,6 of the 1/43 and about 20 1/64(lots of duplicates.

hmmmm, wonder if the company that makes these fine toys will ship decals to those of us not fortunate enough to have run across a kit...all of mine are preassembled. Do you have a part number on the decal sheet that can be referenced?
