Once Rob see's how bad the insurance on a Viper cuts into his weed money, that thought will vanish

Now...........
Back on Topic

This thread sucks without a video
And I'll have to join the ranks of the as how a Lightning with only a t/b and ftvb beats a viper.

Not saying it couldn't have happened, just find it hard to believe, if the viper was running okay

I really don't think a stock 1997 viper will run 11's all day...or will it?

With an average driver I'd say more like low 12's ... but solid 118-120mph's.

sorry guys, i'm having some major problems with the pinnacle 9 software. i've tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it, but i'm having the same problems. i'm going to just use my friends software that came on his cpu and get it working. i'm going to try tomorrow and actually go from a dead stop.

Every time I see a viper I screw with them, and they must not be flooring it all the way, but I hear the engine rev up and they start like speeding up fast but I always pull away. I have a stock lightning with 371.5 at the wheels and 14.00 on the dot 1/4 mile

I did race an STI and win though, no joke. it was really really close though.

I love lightnings!!

A 97 Viper is better than the new ones as they had forged pistons. I believe this ended in 99. A GTS will run 11's easily and a RT-10 just needs exhaust and rocker arms to do 11's all day.

Rob,
We have a customer running 9's in a 99 model and stock internals. So keep the dream alive.
