I don't think you need sealer. I could be mistaken, but aren't those gaskets impregnated with the orange permatex looking stuff? I think they are one time use only....but better check with the pro's.

Should I have used some kind of gasket sealer or new gaskets seals when switching blowers and cleaning the intercooler?
The factory gaskets are made to be reused. You just need to clean them up good.

BTW; sent you an e-mail.

Hey Casey02

Just wondering what size and kind of belt are you running with your Mag and 4# lower?

I've been using a 670 length Gates. I have tried a 675 Gatorback, and it seems to work about the same. The shorter Gates seems to be holding better. But, I have a new style Metco Idler with a 100mm idler pulley.

a 670 belt will definatley fit, because of the lip on the pulley some times it can be difficult to get the correct belt on there. If you dont want to take the tensioner stop off What you want to do is directly below the upper pulley there is two idlers. Leave the belt off of one of those idlers, slip the belt around the top supercharger pulley and then slip it back on the idler. Beign that the lip on the supercharger pulley is a 1/4 " taller all around you effectivly need a half inch longer belt to slid over the pulley. All we use here is a 670 but we do take the tensioner stop tab off. Like I said if you dont want to just leave the belt off one of the idlers untill you get it on the upper. Any further questions please feel free to call the shop.

Unbolt your tensioner from the idler bracket. On the back you will see a stop. Take a dremel tool, hacksaw, something and cut them off flush with the rest of the back. It will allow you to move the tensioner just a little more and get the belt on.

I can give you a kick a$$ deal on a Kenne Bell. Your probably better off sticking with the MP unless you decide to go to a built bottom end. If you need help getting it tuned I can help you out with a few local guys in Florida.

First off I don't rely on "tooners" to tune my truck. I handle all the tuning myself.

I do find it interesting that someone who is not even KB dealer is going to give me such a good deal. Or, are you back to getting them threw your wifes, aunts, cousins, friend
