Ok I was on my way home from the car wash today and I ended up behind a 96' LT1 Corvette. I followed him for a couple of lights them we both ended up turning right on to a side road which was perfect no buildings or other cars but it was just under a 1/4 mile then u have to turn. So at the light before turning I could see the guy looking at me in his mirror, giving me the lets go eye. I got the idea. The light turned green and we were both turned but it was only a single lane so he hammered it around the corner and I followed. He got about a 1 1/2 cars jump on me but i reeled him in, in no time and stayed right on his ***, I had to back off a bit so I wouldn't hit him then we had to stop to make the next turn. I could see him looking in his mirror, as if he was surprised a truck could keep up to him, or even pass if it was 2 lanes.

I guess I can't really call this a kill cause I didn't pass him but what the hell, It was fun.

I think the fact that it was a little shorter than a 1/4 mile gave nme the advantage cause if it was longer I'm guessing he would have pulled away.

Oh ya, and I don't have many mods just JLP forced air and ground force 1/2.

 

As long as you had fun, that's all that matters. Be careful though, because not all of the C4 Corvettes are LT1's. Some of them have LT4 engines which has 330 HP and those Vettes are good for low 13's @ 107 mph.

Yes, I wish it was a 2 lane that would have made my day... Yeah the LT4 haul a** but I new it was an LT1 or else I might have reconsidered.... well probably not... haha!! I don't mind losing as long as it is against something like a LT4
