power problem need help
well i thought i had my truck all set to go i had all my parts on and now my truck isnt pputting out the power it should. i had the truck dyno tuned and i didnt even hit 400rwhp with all my mods.
here is the list
lower 4
upper 2 pully/belt tensioner
ported blower by apten
reflash
afco heat exhchanger
dynatech headers/stock cats
magnaflow single
thunder pipe
BA Bolt TB
ram air set up
deep sump pan
ftvb
oil seperator
i think thats it i didnt get to pick up my truck today form the dyno but i talk to the tech and he said it only put out about 390 hp. now the outside temp was cool and i dont know af or the trq but i will find out tomorrow. i think i should be putting out more, somewhere around 425-435 what gives.
if anyone has any idea please help. any help is appreciated thanks guys

I WOULD NEVER let someone Dyno my truck without me being there, (but thats just me). If it's a LIGHTNING TUNER or someone YOU REALLY TRUST than thats different MAYBE ?
Unfortunately White, without you showing us the Dyno Sheet and A/F, there's really nothing for us to see and or sugest, me I know my tunes weird, but it makes massive power and then flat lines the A/F to 10.nothing at Maximum MPH and RPM. SO I'LL TAKE IT
It's always about the tune,
YOU CAN BET YOUR LAST DIME, IT'S THE REFLASH/TUNE
You have too many mods TO NOT HAVE a CUSTOM PROGRAM
and or Dyno Tune by a L Tuner. With those Mods you can rest assure the power is there, you just need a CUSTOM TUNE so it ALL can be put to use
Do you know your Timing ?
Shift Points ?
Is there a chance the Dyno Guy screwed up ?
OD off, Truck in Third, over 3300 RPM, "BEFORE HE FLOORED IT" ?
Did he have a meter on it / do any data logging ?
These are the reasons you do the Dyno, so you can see whats going on all over the run.
Don't sweat it, as said you have all the correct Mods, all you need IS MORE TIMING, good shift points, a nice safe A/F, and the #'s will show
i hope your right rob, i took my truck to a well known tech around my area im in michigan and people from all over come to him even from canada he has done other lightnings and has had great results. i trust the guys up there ive been going there for a while. i going there right now to get all the info. i hope i can figure this stuff out. i put to much work into my truck to give up now. ill post the rest of the info tonight. thanks again guys

well know trusted Performance Tuner. Ok then thats a good thing, ask him what timing you had at WOT high RPM, see if he did some data logging of the run, ask him to explain it a little to you so you can get his honest opinion. The answer is in those numbers somewhere ?
Did he do the reflash ?
I know all about reflashing, but not enough to know if I do infact trust it over a chip ONCE WE GET TO A CERTAIN PERFORMANCE LEVEL. I'd be lieing if I said I know if addresses everything I feel is important in a Custom Chip Program.

now im having trouble with my email it wont send to others, but here is what i can tell you guys till i get it fixed. with the list of mods i have i have a rating of 388hp and 470trq the graph shows the af to hit a little over 15 and then drop to 11.6 i havent had time to get a hold of the tech for any other info im just to busy but when i do i will post it along with the dyno sheet.
thanks for the help for those with the reply to the post, but my email still dont work so i guess im gonna have to go about it on my own. ill have to take it various shops to find the problem see ya later guys, ill post again when everthing is fixed
