Should i be concerned with the truck leaning out with LT's and high flow cats? The truck previously dynoed 11 flat a/f's at the tails on my current set up ...and will the Lt's throw a code?...thanks guys

They will fit, and haven't thrown a code with my truck in two yrs.

And you are right about those LT's and hi-flow cats sounding healthy, especially with the Bassani cat back.

Not sure on the a/f numbers, every truck seems to be a different animal when mods are added.

This all depends on the cat back system. If you buddy bought our full exhaust setup you might need to take it to a exhaust shop to have install as the passenger side catpipe will not line up. If he just bought the headers cats and midpipes with no catback then they will bolt up directly to whatever you have.

Generally the reason check engine lights are thrown with the headers is because the current tune doesnt like what its seeing. Sometimes it is required to get a new tune.

Completely off topic fun thing about the kooks long tubes and exhaust system -

Driving thru parking garages and setting off **** yuppie car alarms just idling thru.....

Yes its childish but it still makes me grin ...

I have a co worker with a new 2004 supercab and his alarm is set WAY TO sensitive - it beeps to tell him how many times it has gone off - he was bitching the other day that it is gong off 4 and 5 times a day in the parking garage ... LOL

In most instances the a/f gets a little richer after the addition of the longtubes.

well that's good to hear and if anyone else has any thoughts please feel free to post em...I have no desire to have the wold's fastest truck nor am i chasing a couple tenths in the 1320 i feel my truck is as fast as i feel safely comfortable....the deal on the headers was a no brainer and for the sound they provided..it's all i needed...if i so happen to have a smoother powerband...welll that's fine too. .....now i gotta give JDM a call sometime in the comming weeks and pick up some gaskets

Naw Doug thats not fun....but going thru a tunnel at about 40 mph and leaving two black marks from your nittos about 100 feet long with 3" exhaust and no cats....now thats fun

You can damn near cause a 4 lane pile up with a stunt like that.
