Lightbulb Valve body install

Installed the JLP valve body today along with 4 x 4 pan/filter. Really easy install, took about an hour and a half, with clean up. Really happy with the shifting now, barks second haven't had it anywhere I could try out third. When you grandpa it around town it still shifts nicely, very streetable! I guess I was expecting the need of a neck brace after some of the stories I've heard!

Where did you get it at? Also how easy was the install? I am kind of worried about screwing up my tranny. I have done alot of mechanic work for myself but never any on auto transmissons.

I got Nitto's too. Here's the web site: http://www.johnnylightningperf.com/index.php

Directions come with the body (really simple to do and if you have an air compressor and ratchet it would cut the time down considerably), I would recommend getting a pan and filter too! When you call JLP just ask Sue or Johnny for a pan.

From: Colorado,
Its my understanding that there are different degrees of shift hardness you can by.

Medium

or

Hard

Do you have any idea which one you got?
I have held off on the full boat and settled for just the power valve for now.

I had the whole VB in my hand and wondered if I should have just done the whole thing. Definitley don't want the neck brace model.

I assumed they only had one so I don't know which one I got, sorry. Guess you could call JLP, I'm sure Sue or Johnny would know! Yeah, a neck brace would be a bad thing!

Hey EZGZ,
I assume the accumulator valve is another mod, is it ok to use with valve body? I saw it but forgot to ask about it. How do you like it??
