If Ford was smart they would higher you to do exterior design. I would buy your version over the SVT version for sure...I like the wheel choice also, fits it very well....the grille is the only thing I would change out...It looks to plain IMO.

Awsome work as usual man, thanks for the wallpaper

I like it!

But, I agree, the grille needs work, like horozontal chrome bars or something. Also, didn't the Ford version have air outlets in the front fenders? I liked those.

isn't that why you, myself along with a lot of others ditched the stock L grille a while ago?

I think you guys are right about the grill - I missed an opportunity there. I admit I could have played with the grill more (it's basically the same as stock). I can imagine several possibilities (wire mesh, horizontal bars, billet, etc.), but the stock one didn't bother me too much and I was eager to post this, even if it was half-azz. I was honestly afraid to go too crazy with this concept, since my whole theme was "keep it simple stupid" (compared to the overwrought 2005 L concept with all of its creases, vents, and scoops). But thanks for the feedback, which I will use toward my next wallpaper/photochop. Maybe a Saleen or something, with a different grill (Audi-style merged too?).

I could be tweaking these for months, but I doubt I'll ever arrive at something that pleases everybody. I guess that's what the aftermarket is for!

yeah, but at least the 99-00 grilles were "kind of" cool.....I didnt mind them that much, kind of sporty in a way.... I have never really liked the 01+ style...reminds me of the XL/XLT models...

I would change out the grille on the new trucks within the first week of owning it though....its really lame looking IMO...reeeeeallllly lame.

Really? I never much cared for the honeycomb style on the 99-00, but I guess we could also debate the 99-00 wheels vs 01-02 vs 03-04 and never get anywhere either.

Well I liked it at first, in 98 (in mags)/99 when it came out. I liked it when I got mine even...but after a few months I changed them out... then everything else followed.
