Anyone using the Whipple??

Whipple makes a charger for the 5.4 2 valve, the only problem I see is it's rear inlet, but I'm sure the firewall could be modified, has anyone done this, or is there something important that I'm missing??

I can't seem to find a works plenum anywhere, so I figured maybe I could just make my own. And no, either nitrous or a new blower is going to have to go on, and I don't want a KB. Hopefully this won't turn into a KB vs. everything else debate either.

I'm putting down better than that now, but I assume they are doing it with alot less boost....which would be nice.

I think theres a difference here, isn't that 04' F150 a 3 valve engine though, not 2 valve
and it was only pushing 14 pounds boost .....

No, there is also a 2-valve application.

They stopped making the Waveblaster in 1996, the then made the Waveblaster II in 97-99. I have a 1994 701, now a 785, Yamaha Waveblaster, that's where the name comes from

Im running a 140 which utilizes a Whipple 2300 blower at its core..

I dont think you will find anyone running the Whipple 5.4L blower in the Lightning forum. That would take a ton of customization to make work as the outlet is right into the smog/emissions stuff on the drivers side of the blower...
