Does anyone else uneasy with the idea of a harness bar without at least a roll bar? Sounds dangerous to me.

whats so dangerous?

You're held in by 5 points rather then three, and all 5 are secured to either factory points, or properly secured points.

I wonder if Mr. Skelton would be interested. I read on his website that the installation of harnesses was on his "to do list"...

I'm very interested. Never wanted to pay for a full cage; so this may be just the thing...

I have one of Stan's bars on my truck. I leave it in all the time. I use the stock belts everywhere except for the track. At the track I just pull the harness out from under the seat and I'm ready for the twisties. I allso made4 a bar that runs accross the front two seat mounting bolts. I installed an anti sub. belt on this bracket. Even though I don't have a hole in my seat it keeps my lap belt down no matter how hard I pull the shoulder straps. I have thought about the problem of no rollover protection but at this point I do not have an answer. Some took stan's bar and welded roll bars behind both seats. I really doubt that the mounting screws (OEM seat belt studs) would hold in a roll over. I'm open for ideas.
