Nitrous Run Tomorrow

I finally got my truck back. I put JLP's stage II cams and ported heads on along with a Zex wet kit. My mechanic did a really nice install with the bottle warmer, opener, purge and arm switch in the front roof compartment. I have the 75 horse jets in and put on my Nitto DR's tonite. Also had some 104 octane sent down, so tomorrow I am going to take her out and give it a go. It runs really nice now without the nitrous, so I hope I will be in for a really nail me to the seat run with the Zex system on. Will let you know what happened.

WOW!!!

Warmed up the Nitto DR's a little then eased into full throttle. Got good traction and man, it got up to 120 quick without a hiccup. I figure, roughly, that I was going around 112+ at the 1/4 mile marker (not all that accurate but close). Plan on getting it dyno'd next week and hopefully make up the Alaska Raceway before the seasons over. The Zex wet kit seemed to work flawlessly and definately nailed my butt to the seat.

I have read posts on a new nitrous system he installed that flows porpotionally to throttle opening. Sounds cool, but it seems, at least for me, that you want your nitrous system operational for full throttle occasions only. Am I missing something?

From: Colorado,
That's the song that eveyone sings.....

WOT and rich to avoid detonation. Sounds like a nice install that went well.
Can't wait to see your dyno numbers.
