Two things.......First, on my own experience, I have raced a 2003 Corvette from a dead stop twice in a row up to about 90 mph. My 03 L is stock with just an AIRAID and I stayed dead even with the Vette if not just slightly ahead of him. However, I am sure that soon after that I woulda been reeled in nicely. Secondly, I think most would agree that even a head swap would be considered a bolt-on mod. I think that the term bolt on stops when you get into changing the cam. While it may be the most difficult of the "bolt-ons", I think that you can still call a head swap a bolt on. "Of course this is just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Heres an opinion from a Vette guy.

"Bolt ons" in the vette world mean external BPU's. Intake, exhaust, pulley, LS6 manifold and maybe a tune. When they tell you Head and Cam, trust me... they usually do everything else to go along with it. That's means if they can drive, they are going to run mid 11's easy and trap in the 117+ mph range. If you hear a bit of lope com'n out the exhaust, bring your A game.

Hey Weimkl: Tampa here as well. You could get an interchangable pully. Get a 4# pully chip and other modds. If you need more then just swap pully for a 6#. You will need a flip chip for both pully tunes and belt for 6#. That is one way to keep you options open.

See you around town. If you need help on installing let me know as well. Ive done two pully installes and plug changes. Im getting better at it too.
