4lb Pulley, Brand, Style?

Hey guys, sitting down at the computer ready to order a 4lb lower for my 00 Lightning. I am surprised to see so many different brands, prices, and cageless? Which one should I get? Are their any brands or styles I should stay away from? I was checking out RPMOutlet. They have a special going right now. DiabloSport Predator/MotoBlue Quick-Change 4lb Pulley, both for $499.95. Sounds like a great deal???

Cool

Buy the parts from a supporting vendor here that can get you a tune for the new Predator. (Last I knew, RPM Outlet was not doing any "tuning" - they direct you to Diablosport).

If you buy it from "here", a tune is only $35 or so. If you buy it from "there" the tuners "here" charge around $100 for the 1st tune and then the regular $35 for each additional.

So, you'll save $65 on the tune section of the deal by buying "here". How much cheaper is RPM Outlet ?

After reading a LOT of posts here, I don't think I want anyone other than Johnny, Sal, etc. tuning my L.

Just my $.02 worth...

About those pulleys....

Most of the pulleys are simply large aluminum parts that bolt to the balancer. Ford, however, spent a bunch of extra money making an outboard support for the pulley to diminish the vertical loading imposed by the blower belt on the nose of the crank. Why? Everybody seems to be getting away with using the unsupported pulleys, but JDM makes 'em with the support or "cage". Ford does not spend more than they have to, so I'm thinking they might know something. I'd go with the JDM unit until someone can explain the pros and cons.
