Caster/Camber plates

Going to lower my truck soon via Hotckis springs. Which caster/camber plates do I need to get and where can I buy them? I did a search with no results and looked at the major L tuner websites with no luck.

Our trucks dont need caster camber plates. You need a cam bolt kit for the upper A arm. You can get them at NAPA etc.

Hey Ryan, I just dropped you an e-mail, but for anyone else.

the answers can be found here:

Cam Bolt Thread

Napa kit courtesy of Vinnie:

Ford kit (both parts) courtesy of jmlay:

I assume that these part numbers are accurate. I'd recommend the Ford kit because as you can see it looks to be substantially stronger, although it is more expensive.

your local dealer will be able to verify the part numbers.

good luck.

later,
chris

I'll second Chris's recommendation about the Ford parts.

My son's truck (not an L, but a '97 F-150) got a 3-1/2" Fabtech lift and while setting the alignment, the D shaped hole in one of the washers stripped out and the the bolt turned freely. This was the non-Ford part.

When replaced with the Ford version...Zero problems.

Good Luck,
Herb
