I must say I'm pretty shocked at that response as well...

I thought Mark@LFP was the carpenter?

Anyway, I have a FT tranny and valve body. My truck made 567 rwhp last April on a mustang dyno without the 150 shot I was spraying. I put over 20K miles on it last summer on the track and racing on the streets. No problems and I sprayed a lot off the line and am bad about stomping it in OD and jumping down into second gear which I was also told was pretty bad.

I with JLP on this one???
Funny I had a dyno tune by him and then took it out for a spin with Johnny and I had just installed the FTVB and when I hit it the truck kicked out in second and chirped in 3rd. JLP gave a nice souther WOOHOO and complimented the valve body. I asked him the difference between the 2 and he just said JLP's does not hit as hard when shifting (or vice versa). But I definitely took it as a compliment on the part.

I have one from Johnny that was distributed through another vendor, who had them made by Art Carr. I think they have been in the tranny business a few years greg! Also, I had a valve body made by Lentech in 2000. It shifted firmley, but nothing like the FTVB or Art Carr. The Lentech failed because of the aluminum wearing and hanging up the plunger.
