Well, hate to bust your bubble, but nitrous on the SRT-10 costs the same as nitrous on a Lightning unless you count that with their engine they can probably get away with a 200 hp shot...and that costs twice as much to use as a 100 shot...
Leonard, your not busting my bubble ... Gas is the same price
for both vehicles too ... < grin >

Throttle bodies are 599, radiators are 795, and the headers !!! Whew!!!

It's worse for them than than us dealing with our vendors...
At least most of our guys try to treat us fairly ...

Just a comment though ... your experience may vary ...

From: Colorado,
Our trucks had there share of problems when they first came out and Dodge will learn what to do to correct there's.

It really comes down to what you like and the amount of money you have to spend.

I am so confident that the 3rd generation Lightnings will have there problems that I traded in my 99 for the refined 04 and cross my fingers.

The guy at work has a buddy that just bought one. I told him today, I would give him $100 if he can talk his buddy to race me and film it.
No street racing, but rather at the track. It will happen at Englishtown or Atco.
I figure it will be the best $100 I ever spent, if it happens

It all comes down to value. (bang for the buck)

There is a reason why Lightings are so popular. Just like the old 5.0L stangs and just about any 2dr chevy with a small block in it. Bang for the buck. Something the srt-10 does'nt have and will never obtain.

I don't understand how this article goes on and on about everything and doesn't even mention the tow factor once, that is total bs.
