Goodyear tire scolloping

Has anyone used a different brand of tire that is not prone to scolloping. The alignment is perfect & tire balance is right on.
two other vehicles with goodyear also are very prone to scolloping. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks william

Nitto NT555s are pretty nice. Very comparable to the F1 and maybe a little better traction.

If I'm not mistaken, are are the following brands that make a tire in the 295/45/18 size:

Goodyear
Nitto
Toyo
Hankook
Pirelli

The latter three aren't as performance-oriented as the former duo.

I'm on my 3rd set of F1's on the L. The first set I had the scalloping on the inside front. I started rotating tires every 5k miles. No scalloping on the last 2 sets. F1's are still the best option for a daily-driver IMO.

Do you run the factory pressure settings and check the pressures regularly? My F1's have 12k on them and look great. I rotate every 7500.

Sounds like you are running low pressure, or if it's
Lightning's, the clunk washer fix has not been done
and any alignment is only good for about 20 yards
or until you turn.

From: Colorado,
Thats why I do my own alignments.

The F1 is a lot quieter than some other tires to.

The F1 GS is supposed to be an improvement in compounds.

I hate Pirrelli, scalloped bad, Noisey, heavy. (no likey) 285/50/18
