Headers & High Flows are on the way.......

Hey guys, I am so excited....I just ordered some Kooks Long Tube headers and high flow cats from JDM. I can't wait to get them in and installed.

I was wondering though....How much do you guys think it will help me power wise...I am looking for some big gains. You can look at my sig to see what mods I currently have. Keep in mind though, when I install the headers I am taking my 4lb pulley off and putting a 6lber in its place.

My best time to date is 12.87 @ 105....If you had to guess...Where will I be now? Thanks for your help!

You will mainly get sound and throttle response.

But with going to the 6lber, you will gain more. The LT's flow better so boost wont be to much more even though you going up 2lb's.

Id say 12.20-12.30 range with good air and traction....

You will want some traction bars though...

Thin line between your power and a broken driveshaft....

Get a DS loop to!

Sounds good to me....I really didn't figure to get that deep in the 12's...but hey...I would love that.

I also know I need to get a drive shaft loop, I will do that soon.

Thanks, I would love to hear more of what you guys have to say about this mod.

I have about the same setup only I'm still runnig a 4lber and Apten ported blower. I dynoed at 425 rwhp and 505 rwtq. Have not ran it at the track yet.

You will love the sound of a the new exhaust system.

To give you an idea, I dyno between 405-415 HP with a 4# lower and apten ported blower. I only swapped to hi-flow cats and Magnaflow muffler setup. I have the stock manifolds.

You will probably only see a 10-15HP gain with the new setup. Our manifolds seem to be good for up to 450HP, after that, they may be a restriction.

You need to do a comparison of dyno charts to get the real picture. While the gains may be small at peak power, they may be quite large down low. Look for area under the curve, not just peak values.
