Well I weighed mine, and it was 3lbs more.

It was definetely not 30-40 lbs.

What does a stocker weigh? I figure 20-25 Lbs.
That isn't bad If you did a comparison between the aluminum and
the fiberglass shaker and there was only a 3 Lb. difference.
I didn't bother. I just had to have it regardless of the weight.

 

I had always thought the hood was so expensive because they had to bring it from the past in a time machine...or on a delorian(sp?). But maybe thats just because I'm in my 20s and don't appretiate them as much
