I won't say or take anything away from John and Sal as they deserve the top-dog status completely.
There are however 2 mystery Gen 2's floating around in the S. Florida area that seem to be keeping BIG secrets. There have been rumors about the 2, some substantiated and others I think are bull****. If they are so fast they are either.....
1. Not tuned and reliable enough to be shown completely yet.
2. Not as fast as they are rumored.
3. Not interested in "being in" and "showing them off".
4. Not streetable/legal.
5. Wanting to surprise EVERYONE at Lightningfest?

Eric

Ps. It's not me!!!

I know of a Lightning down here when finished will put out sick numbers... put it this way......... Its not a 2v and its not supercharged. In no way am I saying it will be the fastest L, but it should be quick.

How much rwhp and torque does it take to run faster than a 9.88? How much are our quickest low 10 second/sub 10 second Lightnings dynoing at?

How about a tubbed Gen 2 with a big thumper, nitrous, and a glide?

I think a fuel injected 514 big block Gen 1 would be much more fun
