Kooks Headers.....Which High flow cats??

I am probably about to purchase some Kooks Headers but I was wondering which high flow cats to get? I could get the ones from JDM but they are a little pricey? Which one flows the best, I want the best power gain possible? Also, please tell me where I can get which ever brand you guys recommend. Thanks!

P.S.- I have the Bassani Catback.

do a search, the magnaflow/carsounds cats that are supplied with the full exhaust are supposed to be some of the highest quality on the market.

however after 1 year, mine (and LOTS of other people's) looked like this inside:

so instead of replacing cats every 12 months, I and some others are trying these metallic substrate cats instead.

unfortunately, I don't know of anybody who has been running them long enough to give an opinion on how long they should last.

good luck.

The only problem with those cats is they don't look like cats. Here in the Nashville area people have failed emmisions tests with cats similar to those because they don't look like cats...

How does the truck sound with no cats??

Is it raspy, or still have the same deep tone as with the cats??

Soud Clip (Rev)

Sound Clip (Idle)

LT's, No-Cats, Dynomax Ultra-Flo "Welded" Mufflers

Very loud... Very unique sound, for sure!

The difference from going from cats to no-cats is just a pretty dramatic increase in sound volume.. The sound itself didnt change much, at least on my truck..
