I sent you a couple of e-mails about the Bero sensor?
I'm still getting that code P0106 & P0107???
What would cause this?
Is it just a bad sensor or could something else cause this? This crazy thing is like $140 buck at the dealer.
Do you or any one else know where to get this thing after market?
Thanks,
Suavy

ok guys, here is what I was able to come up with.
If they found me the correct part, ford describes this sensor (as far as the parts department is concerned) as a MAP or Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. however our trucks don't use a map sensor, they use a Baro sensor. I just mention this in case it helps anybody when dealing with their local parts dept.
anyway, this is the number I came up with:
F8YZ-9F479-CA
my dealership lists it at $164.00 over the counter price.
my employee price is about $75.00
this means that dealer cost is somewhere around $68.00
keep in mind that these prices will vary from dealership to dealership.
another good bit of information to know. the part is also listed under a Motorcraft number. which may increase the chances of you being able to find it locally without having to special order one.
the motorcraft number is CX-1704
hope this helps.
later,
chris

Chris, thanks a lot for the info, but what causes this to go bad? Could it be something else tripping this code? I don't want to spend the monney to get this part then still have the fault from something else.
