ok i was thinking about getting a used 03 lightning but the thought has crossed my mind about getting an 01/02 ....what do you guys and gals recommend? i was just thinkin maybe if i got a slightly older lightning i could put less down which will equal more money to play with...and how hard is it to find a used lightning in those years??

Have you tried autotrader to see what people are asking for them in your area? You might be just as well off to get a new one if you can get an x-plan pin number from someone.

Get the 03.

 

yea after looking at some of those prices might as well

 

I would go for the 03 for the extra threads so the plugs don't blow out. I know the 04s have better carpet and i believe this applies to the 03 as well.

 

Get a used 03 with low miles
