What's My Short Block Worth

It has 14600 on it, oil changed every 1.5-2K miles. Have heads and Eaton blower for it and old exhuast. It was a strong motor with no probs (got a JL shortblock so I could up the boost with no worry of rod ventilation). Have a party interested in it but have no idea of what to ask him for it. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I would say 3k for the long block and blower. I thought you sold it? You ever gonna come up to the track and run that beast of your's?

Seems like a fair price.
Who up here is interested in it?
You should come to the track this weekend. Big Lightning race on Sunday.

Thanks for The Input

Might as well sell it for something, I probably won't be getting around to it any time soon, so! Would love to come up to Palmer, but don't think my truck is quite back together yet. Soon.

A guy that just bought a used L has a little too much engine rattle. Told him some piston slap is normal, but he has been told by Cal that it is either valve train or bearings. I offered mine to him for 2k, which I think is a very fair deal (heads and blower included). I was going to keep it and hoped to cram it into a a 64 Comet Cyclone. But I realized it was a time consuming project that I didn't have time for, and was told it was a bad fit to boot. Too bad, those Comets look bad with a hood scoop and some major meats in the back.
