hmmm, ok can someone describe this in more detail, maybe a diagram?

 

I guess i stuck with the motorcraft and the 18dollar price tag...Autozone only has Duetsch fuel filters..which i have never heard of...he has no listing for any other filter for the L.....maybe the guy is an idiot..who knows

 

Sickboy, do you have a Bumper to Bumper near you? I buy my Motorcraft fuel filters from them, the prices are much better than at the dealer, and they carry a lot of Motorcraft parts - filters, PCV valves, etc. Just trying to help you save a buck or two on the same part.
