Does anyone know of any independent studies or articles which compare performance chips. Superchip v. Kenne Bell v. Hypertech etc. etc.? Any good or bad experiences with the Kenne Bell switch chip? Thanks, Ken

 

it's not so much the chip, but the tune on the chip. I wouldn't go with an "off the shelf" chip however....just my $.02..............JR

 

There are no secrets. Air-fuel and timing are the two critical parameters, and no chip maker has an advantage over the other in these areas.

Like the above post states, it makes more difference who programs the chip than who manufactured it.

If one tuner always seems to come up with more HP than the others, stay away from him -- your engine will probably blow.
