This thread needs to be closed now. Until Jim's last post we were having a exchange of thoughts and ideas. Now Jim has called Cliff names. That's where Doug usually closes a thread when someone calls Jim a name. Me being unhappy with JDM has nothing to do with Sal. I spent almost double the money with JDM when I bought the full exhaust than I have ever spent with Sal counting both my 99 and my 03. I sent you money for a caged pulley back in 2000/2001 that you lied to me about for months and months before I got my money back. Then you sold me an exhaust system that had gaskets that were total junk, and the cats failed in a year and 23,000 miles. This was for $1700.00! All you can say is that it's Carsounds fault because the first cats (I must have been lucky and gotten two of the bad one's) were ***** and it's to bad for me! The only thing I don't understand Jim is how you get away with selling people parts that fail and then instead of standing behind them you sell them a replacement. You have got to be the best con man the world has ever seen right behind Bill Clinton! I'm not sure if you had to replace all the failed parts you have sold in the last few years at your expence if JDM would even be solvent now. Not counting all the hours of labor your customers spent replacing caged pulleys, rusted exhaust parts, and blown out cats. I would be a happy customer even today if you had replaced EVERY pulley that had to be destroied to be removed, and every exhaust part that either rusted prematurely, or a cat that failed in a short period of time. I could forget about the money you held for months and months while you lied about when the pulleys would ship. As I said in most businesses when you sell something and it fails it makes no difference if the manufactor will not take care of it. The retail outlet normally stands behind the products they sell or they will go out of business. My hats off to you Jim. You have figured out how to NOT stand behind your product and stay in business.....again, I am impressed! I could learn a lot from you, because I can't get away with what you get away with in my business. Maybe I'm just envious.
