Front Tag Removal

I decided to take off my front tag holder which to my dismay was screwed in with two screws directly into the front bumper! What should I do to fix the two holes? Where can I get the Red paint to match? I can't believe someone screwed that in that way.

The right way would be to get them repaired with a flexible bumper repair and have the bumper reshot and make sure that any primer and clear applied has flex additive added to it.

You can alway just put a plastic push button in it. It will be black but will look better than a tag bracket.

The Dealer screwed mine in too..

When I ordered the truck I told them that if they put plate frames or a dealer emblem on the back of the truck I will ask for my money back. I forgot to mention I didn't want the front play screwed into the bumper either....

sigh...

Thanks for the replies. I will probably try and get the push buttons for now and see how they look. I was looking at the owner of my companies Porsche 911 Turbo and he has the push buttons as well. So I figured if he could on a 90K car then I could .

I use the plastic license plate screws with chrome caps to fill my front plate holes. I think it looks pretty clean. I think you get 4 for $2 @ Wal-Mart.
