Question Random light switch question

Bought an '04 Supercrew the other day. The lights are the same "dial" setup as before, but you can turn the fogs on on any setting - autolamp + fog, parking lights + fogs, etc.

Question, did they do this in all the '04s, or just the new bodystyle "non-Lightnings."

Pretty cool to see Ford do this after all the hacking we used to have to do to make the fogs come on at any setting.

DUCK

My '04 is the same as my '01.

So will the new body style '04 switch be able to work in heritage f150s (lightnings)?

Good Question, If its not to much I'd buy a new switch for that option.

Hey Mike, isn't there some wiring changes you had to make in addition to the grinding on the switch? I remember reading that one time, but can't remember where I found it. I was driving another year truck at the time. If so, I wonder if the switch would work without doing the alteration to the wiring harness to accomodate it.
