Removing Center Console Piece

I have a 03 L. How do you remove the front rubber/vinyl cup holder part of the center console? Cant figure it out.

you have to at least take the plastic tray out of the console.... the whole console unbolts from the bench if you want to work on it outside the truck.

Mind as well ask this. I'm going to be fiberglassing a XM reciever into some part of the truck. The unit is about 4'' x 3'' x 1/2''.
I was thinking about glassing it into the center console kicked at an angle to me. Any other ideas from you guys?

no i lost interest..........i couldnt find a good spot to glass the reciever in. you have any ideas?

Right now I am looking at somewhere on the overhead console or getting an Expy console and glassing it in the lower portion. I will let you know what I decide.

Do you have XM in your truck now with a Roady or sonething?

I have the XM already in my truck. Its not the roadie. double sided taped it to the panel below the cigar lighter cover so no one can see it and try to grab it. was looking for a place to fiberglass it in. I might look at the overhead console tonight though...........
