1715 a good general tune for a 03 L?

Reason I ask is that I can get a new one for around $350 cdn. and would be able to use it in either of my trucks. (only one at a time of course)

Before I use it in my L (hp4 prog.)(with a 2# and line mod valve) I wanted to see what others experieces are. I only have 91 oct in the area so i wonder if that could be a concern? Also does the tunner increase shift rpm? if so by about how much? (i would like to stick with stock shift rpm if possible)

Thanks for the help and if there is anything else i should know about the tuner that would be great.

I have the 1715 and it worked great with a two pounder.....

I dyno once with the 1715, stock airbox, and a 2lb at 365/386. If you have the FTVB, set the shift pressure at "min" at all shifts and you will still get a nice part throttle bark between the 1-2 shift.... and yes you can increase the shift RPM.....no more 1-2 short shifts

I have a 4lb and an 15" airforce one now.

thanks for the info

Actually what i was wondering was that if the tuner increased the shift rpm higher from stock? and if so can you set it back to normal with the tuner?
