upper pulley decison help needed

a month or so back i bought a 2.8 ASP upper pulley. I have been waiting on the puller from amazon racing and just got it today. I was told that with the ASP pulley i might have to grind the snout. Well tonight i pulled the stock pulley off, and it went flawless. WEnt to press the 2.8 on and i noticed it was not gonna clear the snout. So now im faced with a few options. What is everyones opinion on grinding the snout?

1Grind the snout and use the ASP pulley
2Sell the ASP and get one that clears the snout without grinding

Why not just return it, and tell them HELL NO I aint grinding my Eaton. I bought all my Pulleys, FROM A PULLEY COMPANY
NO grinding needed

BTW, Terry is a great guy

However, I guess grinding the Fins down a bit is no biggy either.
I understand there's not too much grinding to do anyway.
Me, I'd prob just grind it, then again I don't think twice on drilling holes in my upper

Even extra ones
