Whats the Verdict?

So whats the verdict on the ported blowers? IM stuck deciding on a power mod and cant figure out what i want to do. I would like some noticable power, nothin great, was hopin to pick up a tenth or 2. Whats everybody thought so far? Seemed like the numbers sounded great at first, but i havent seen anyone really reap the benefits at the track? Is there a better mod to compliment my current mods for around the same price? Whatcha guys think?

good port = more whine, more power, more top end

bad port = less or equal power, general pain in the ***, good wallet lightener, sore ***

I would go with a vendor that does this all the time...I have heard bad things about some of the port jobs. Go with someone with a proven record of increased gains.

Why mess around, run a nice small shot (@55HP),
and you'll be as safe as you want, and gain major ET

BTW
Only got to try my Ported Eaton (WASP) once at the track.
Hottest day I've EVER made a pass on the L too.
It brought me my best 60ft ever (so plenty of low end power)
It gave me my 2nd fastest ET ever (can't complain there) 12.01
and it also added MPH (so plenty of top end power too)
(actualy the same MPH as my 11.81) SO NO COMPLAINTS HERE ON WES'S PORTING (especially for $300.00)

I am happy with my Apten ported blower. No ET's to back it up though
