L vs M3 anyone here??

i raced a new m3 n clk55 about a month ago, both from a 40mph role, n we went to 130.
Both guys were flipping out that a pick-up beat em.
but a stock lightning has no chance from a role.
those damn m3 run good.

From the sound if the engine the L driver haven't even disabled overdrive before flooring it, which gives him a further delay before the tranny kicks down by it self.
Isn't that common knowledge amongst us when racing from a roll...

Well my 2001 w/ 4lb pulley had no problem with a stock E36 M3 (right lane) and a supercharged E36 Dinan M3 (holding camera): http://www.gearfx.com/ford/Lightning...rchargedM3.mpg
Granted, these were the last generation M3's, but I don't get a lot of trouble from the newer ones either in my 2003.
