BLACK C&L inlet pipe?????????

Anyone know where I can get one? Or what paint to use to paint it? What about the blue material under the clamps?

Thanks!

I planned on painting the one I got and bought Duplicolor engine paint for it. Well changed my mine and decided to polish it out, which took a few hours. Anyway I got mine from RPMoulet through a package deal. I think normally they run around $124.

I dont think you can paint the boot seals... the outside seems to be a slick vinyle coat... if it even sticks it would eventually spider crack all over, I would assume anyhow

Just thinking of where I could find that material in black rather than blue.

It might be ghetto but you could try to cut up the orginal boot and use the ends off of it. As for painting you will have to sand down that textured top layer before will sticj and use a primer.

yeah that place is pretty good they have good quality sh^t. I bought to couplers for my turbo eclipse intake pipe and they handle the heat and look really good. Just make sure they are long enough to give you sufficient room for the metal clips.

Chad remind me the next time I see you to show you my C&L pipe that I just polished it turned out nice. Also I'll be putting on all my parts on the 26 of this month. I think Mario is going to help me. You should swing by the hobby shop and check it out if you have time.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. JLP has his own pipe, and I'm sure that's similar in specs to the C&L
