1/4 mile and 0-60 times and retailers for mods

ok sorry for the noob questoin but i can't seem to find this anywhere. Anyone heard of rpmoutlet.com? they have really good prices on packages for the L. 499 for a predator, motoblue qc lower pulley (+4 would be what i would most likely do) and correct length belt. 599 for that plus a MAC CAI. or 479 for C&L inlet pipe, mac cai, and predator. what do you guys think? how necessary would it be to upgrade to a 95mm maf? and does the C&L do anything or just look pretty? how much would each set of mods knock off my 1/4 and 0-60 assuming i know how to launch? also is rpmoutlet any good? anyone have any experience with them? thanks in advance.

Stick with one of the big 3 tuners (JDM,PSP, or JLP). You will get a very "run of the mill" tune with rpmoutlet and end up spending more $$$ in the long run when you switch to one of the 3 tuners. If you want a Predator, goto PSP or JLP. If you want the new SCT tuner, goto JDM or SCT. Just my .02

RPMoutlet doesn't have as much experience. They can sell you a Predator, sure, and even do a custom tune... But heck, I can do that for you. Want me to?

It's about going with a *tuner* who has the experience and knowledge to put the right tune in that Predator.

Good?

Your right Birdy, you don't understand "YET",
thats why you just need to trust us, and do as Tim says and
read read read BEFORE doing ANYTHING

But for the record:
Short Answer is, a Pedator bought from ANYONE will come
with a DIABLO "off the shelf" Custom Program (if you can call it that, (WE DON'T) The Diff when buying it for one of OUR Tuners
is, after you recieve the Predator, you will install this basic
"off the shelf" program into your L, and then upload info from YOUR L, and send that info to the Tuner (via the internet). Then they will (not Diablo) the Tuner will then build you a true Custom tune designed for your truck and your Mods

But this all must be talked about BEFORE you buy the Predator,
RPM (and basically any other mail order Company) CAN NOT do this for you. Of course you need to understand whats in a tune,
and what changes YOU WANT before even going there.
Do exactly what your doing Buddy, ask BEFORE you buy, and rest assure this Forum and Family of instant friends (and foe's)
will tell you what your next move should be.

Basically all of us will agree Filter-Chip-N-Pulley are the main
Mods "and almost need to be done at the same time", since the
Chip has to be burned for the Mods on your truck.
Some do it diff, others run no chip at all.

Read read read, and ask away,
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

Will cost more $$$ as the tuners charge $100+ for their tunes on your existing Predator. Better off to buy it from them in the first place with their tunes on it already!

Trust these guys on this. I wish I would have listened. I went the cheap way. Now I have a Predator "performance " tune on my truck that gives me hella bad detonation. Basically a preadtor I can't use until I get my truck to a dyno. That and RPM sent me the wrong filter, so I have to fight with thmem to get the right one. Pay the extra money and go with the "Tuners". Its worth it. As for needing a 95mm? Don't need it! nuff said. Look at JL, 9.88 with 90mm or so I have been told.

thanks guys. that cleared things up a bit. one last question: anyone know anything about krazy koncepts? i've heard a bit about them from the locals and they say its a pretty good shop (and its only about a half hour from my house) they claim they are the number 1 lightning and mustang high perfomrance shop in the northwest. haven't had any time to go check them out yet (and the truck is still at the stealership getting a new head) but just wondering if i would be wasting my time. thanks for all the info though.
on a side note, coming from jeepsunlimited.com, you guys are a lot friendlier.

I have heard a lot of good stuff about Krazy Koncepts. I think Paul is the guys name there you want to talk to. James@RWTD is another good tuner if you are going with the predator.

Have fun with the truck and try to make it to the tracks up here this summer.
