Predator VS custom dyno tune??

I'm about ready for tune. My 04 has Bassani cat back, FTVB, JLP CAI along with boost by pass. I'm fixing to order a #4 pulley and at the same time I'll be ready for a custom tune. Theres a dyno shop about 2 hours away and they charge $695 for dyno tuning which he said takes as long as 5 hours. He said he tunes it from starting all the way to red line and makes changes all along the way to the PGM. Sounds cool to me, but for $420, I couls get a Predator from someone like Sal at PSP. So, I'm stuck between which to do?? I know that the dyno is the near perfect way to set up your truck. But using someone like Sal that really knows these trucks, I figure he could give a very good tune right outta the box. Also I have something in hand to show for my $$. I could go in and change the Idle or shift points if I desired to. With the dyno tune, I cant do anything after I leave the dyno. I have the $$ to go either way, but I just wanna get the best bang for my buck. For $700 I can get the #4 pulley and a Predator from PSP. So going with the dyno tune is gonna cost me about $200 more in all. I live in South Ga and will be using Panhandle Performance in Panmama City Beach Florida if I decide to go with the dyno tune. Like I said, I just wanna get the the most bang for my money. If the dyno tune is only goona improve my power curve my 3-5hp, then its not really worth it to me. Whats yalls opinion?

Sounds like you've already made up your mind pretty much, bud. I would personally go with the Predator, or a chip, and the 4lb pulley. But others far more experience then I will surely chime in.

I was planning on hitting a dyno here in the coming weeks, but dayaaam...they're that expensive? Maybe not.

By the way, could you email me at airbornesold@hotmail.com? I'd like to talk to you about making a custom rear-window sticker, if that's something you can do...

Thanks!

you have access to good gas?

With just a 4 lber i wouldn't bother with a dyno tune really. As for your alternative I can't recommend the predator but i just don't know if its worth it over just a chip.
