RC Lightning

Not really lightning related, but sort of. Does anyone have the gas powered RC cars. I have been looking into getting one and was wondering if they made a lightning. I asked one of the local hobby shops and i dont think he knew what a lightning was. Any help is appreciated because i have no clue about RC cars. Just seems like it would be fun to drive a mini lightning. I have seen some of them that hit up to 80 mph. Thats crazy. But i have no clue about the engines and what not or if there is a kit for the lightning. Thanks for the help.

Silver, how fast are those lightnings? I thought electric was slower than gas but i may be wrong. Where did you get the black one and how much? Also, what is the top speed? Looks sweet. Thanks.

I run a Ofna hyper 7 1/8th scale (2hp awd). I'd certianly spend a few hard earned dollars if someone could show me a body that would fit!

www.racing-cars.com called the Nitro fusion, 3 speed , street 4wd , 80 real MPH out of the box. F155 Truck looks just like a lightning body ,but has a large wing that you could leave off. I have one but in the process of converting it to electric power, brushless motor, 18volt LIpo battery, attempting to break Radio Control speed record for wheel driven car, current record is 111 mph. June of next year is the competition at Irwindale raceway and it will be lightning bodied.

From: Colorado,
My son bugged me for 2 years for this radio off road car. I finally broke down one christmas and got it for him.

What a money pit!!!!!! We could have gotten his first car with the money we spent trying to make it competitive. It was some quality time though and that is priceless.

I never could get the hang of turning that thing the oppisite way when it's comming at ya

Here's a pic of my New Bright 1/6th scale R/C Lightning & my Tamaya 1/10th scale R/C Lightning on top of it.

I've added blue pinstripes to both of them since the pic. Now they kinda match my truck. LOL
