I think it's about time to give up the Truck Traks
T-Bars
I'm using JDM's Rancho Traction/Lift bars along with 30 inch Hoosiers. So far my best 60 ft. time is a 1.52, and my last 3 were 1.56 1.55 1.53. I've finally got my launches under control, now I want more power for the big end, John H.
With JL long tubes I'm seeing low 1.7s on 26 x 11.5 ET streets. And 1.9-to-2.0 on F1s. (Milan dragway)
With my 2500 stall and ET streets I launch at 2000 to 2300 and they'll roll over a time or 2 then hook. On the F1s it's just about like trying to drag race on a wet road.
Fun though...

Omar, call me again. I mistakenly deleted your voicemail during jury duty today.
Something in the combination is not working right. I can get 1.85's with E.T. Streets. and a 2# pulley.
I also had a problem with the truck going any quicker than 2.01. As hard as I tried, it wouldn't go any faster. After I replaced the trans and converter, it started running 1.90's and quicker.
One thing that you must remember, is the starting line condition has a lot to do with your 60' times. LACR on a good day will only give me 1.97. It's like an ice rink, due to the fact it hasn't been resurfaced since it was built. The same setup at Irwindale will give me consistant high 1.80's

Thanks Jay.
I'll give you a call tomorrow.
But, a fellow L bro. has the same setup as my L (oh, beside the juice
) and he is getting 1.7s .......oh and uhhh, he's also putting down an additional 70 rwhp.
The 1.7s are on the same track on the same day, and on the same lane.
He is running JL Rancho bars, and I'm using the Truck Traks.

I have Lakewoods .... well sort off. I lost a snubber before I went to the track. The three passes so far I ran with 555R's and one Lakewood ladder bars 1.92, 1.83, 1.90
All passes I stalled to about 1400 to 1500 rpms on stock convertor.
I was playing around with air pressures on my Nittos.
1.92 was running 24 lbs of air
1.83 was running 20-21 lbs of air
1.90 was running 17-18 lbs of air
The only time I used real slicks I only made a 1.91 -- they were 26-10-16 slicks
btw: this is with stock 3.73 gears
