LFP Lightning Badge Overlays

I picked up a set of Dome Coated Lightning Badge Overlays from LFP. They are available in a few different patterns and the quality is top notch. You can purchase them direct from LFP :

Here's a nice picture of the rear badge:

I am very pleased at the way things turned out. Thanks Mark!!

It's adhesive backing so you just peel and stick.

I like the way it looks on the black, but I dont think it would look very good on my white truck. I am still thinking about ordering the "Fast" overlay.

I am now seeing these turning up on Ebay.
I originally made these back in 1996, but never sold one.
I just wanted something special for these trucks.

I decide to make them the way ford did, they are not overlays and their not painted.
I gutted the original logos, scanned and shrunk down the Lightning pattern and then duplicated it smaller in vinyl, then layed it over a vinyl background of my choice.
Then poured resin over it just like Ford does. My first logo is still on my truck and is doing well after 9 New England winters.
I made a total of 12 emblems, mostly for my Gen1 friends and one for Jim of JDM as a thanks for the work he did on my Gen1.
The Gen2 logo I made eventually found its way to Vinneys flamed truck, and I think he may have modified it further.
here are two I originally made:
red one:

then my white one:

So they are like collecters items now. Too bad it took so long for people to actually want them. That white one looks sick, too bad the previous owner took of the front grill and put on a billit one.

It's possible that LFP can put FAST on the emblems.

Email Mark @ LFP to see what the other options are.

that white one looks sweet, that is exactly what I want for my white L. I don't even have an emblem on it right now because I put the Street Scene grill on and didn't want to use the stock ford emblem
