A very productive day on the Nitrous Install

This I used for a Temp MINIMAX Bracket, the wiring is short about a foot for where I wanted to put it, but I don't know if I want to add length to it yet. For now this Bracket is holding it (BARELY)

This Bracket I found, molested, painted and used to hold the Solenoids

(it was forn an old B+M Rachet Shifter I had laying around)

I think it came out real nice
EDIT, UPDATED PIC

Looks nice. Sounds like you're having fun, what with being on the cutting edge of a new performance piece for our Lightnings...

There's not much I can do with the Spagetti look of the wires,
thats now like a Central Wiring Area of my Truck, I got the Multi Spark Ignition There, The TP-1 Wiring, and of course the Solenoids, and wiring coming through the Fire Wall for the MINIMAX. Unfortunatly they all seem to go in a diff direction, and no two in the same direction. I'm sure I'll clean it up more as time goes on.

Don't mind the bends in the Lines, those are just laying in there for the Picture, I made nice short ones, but then I realized the Motor is gonna lift and flex a bit, so I need room for that.
THAT IS NOT THE FINAL LENGTH (it will be shorter and straighter)

Here is the 5mm Line going from the front to the rear bed
Now you see it

Now you Don't

It is a Truck after all, and I do use it as a truck to haul stuff often enough to need full 4x8 use of the Bed.

That line still needs to be made shorter, but you get the idea...

Here it is going in the rear Wheel Well

Front Wheel Well

Arming Switch (and Bottle Warmer Switch)

Minimax current location. I think I like this better, set it, kind of out of the way on advertising I have Juice, yet right there to see and set. BTW, it's 100% wired now.

Hey, Rob, not to change the subject on you or anything...

But when I get my Zex kit, is there a special kit I need to buy for mounting of the switches? Like bottle warmer, arming, remote opener...? I'd like to have a nice, clean look for the switches, instead of them just hanging out somewhere with wires all over...

Thanks. Your setup looks sweet... Can't wait to see you hit the track with that. What was your last best time?

I need to figure out a way to mount this thing there, I like the location

EDIT UPDATED PIC'S
This is the TPS Trigger Wire (coming out of the TPS), it goes to our MIDDLE WIRE on the TPS Switch

Notice I moved my Ignition Box to block the Bolts on my Bracket,
(the hardest part was taken the cover off our harness so I could get behind it and use washers and nuts with nice size bolts)
Thats all hidden behind the Plasma Booster.
To the right of that is where I put the TP1 Switch (you can see it)

You don't think you'll hit your leg or knee on the Minimax with it being right there?

Actually NO, there's plenty of room, but I did re-mount it since that picture to change the angle a little

THANKS Duende

The Zex Kit will include ONE switch, you choice where it goes
You will need a seperate one for a bottle warmer (thats why I have two) and even a third for a bottle opener.
There are many great spots people have found, start a post and ask to see Nitrous Switches, you'll get some great idea's

As for the Minimax, no it's actually no where in the way, (it does look like it in the pic, but it's not) but again unless I want to lengthen EACH WIRE, I guess I'll have to keep it in that area

Although I am now 100% wired and 99% hooked up, I couldn't test the Electrical part yet. Denny decided to go with the Large 5mm line for the Fuel inlet also, so I have to wait til tommorrow when that comes to finish.

Like an a$$ hole I put the key on and got to see first hand
HOW MUCH fuel can squirt SO FAR in a mili-second.
I have an open line on the pass side fuel rail, I put the key on on,
and TG my Brother was standing up front, he screamed turn it off and I did in a mili second, but MAN OH MAN did it squirt fuel EVERYWHERE and really really far up into the air
Drenched my poor brother......

My Zex kit is now 100% (minus the fuel rail ftg) and up for grabs,
I guess I'll put it in the buy/sell section

WON'T BE LONG NOW
I'm sooooooooooooo excited........

Nice final install on everything.

If you have any problems/questions please contact me direct. As you can see from the other thread I am not allowed to talk about the products anymore as I'm not a supporting vendor. Not my fault as I did contact f150online over a week ago and never heard back.

Rob,
Do you have a fuse so you can turn off the fuel pump and test the electrical?

thought i read somewhere you have to have X amount of posts and positive input to become one. you cant just come out the cracks and expect to be one. i'm sure your top notch with a Nitrous system like that but you have to prove it. I'd hope they were not just letting anybody that wants to be one become one. my .02

FYI
Apten Did

I know the rules and always stay within them because I Love this place, (and you crazy guys + Leeann) And Denny joined our Forum AND FAMILY here like all of us once did, and like all of us he learned shortly afterwards you cant always talk about what you want to talk about, yes there's rules. After prob less than a few simply post reply's and mention of his product and company he heard about having to be a supporting Vendor if you want to offer a product for Sale here. He immediatly E-Mailed the Mgmt here and simply hasn't heard back yet.

If you go back and look through our post, yes he answers question to many people, and yes he feels very strongly that his product is superior to what we're use to. It seems many of us seem to agree (me enough to get one immediatly) BUT NO WHERE IN HIS POST WILL YOU FIND him asking people to buy his products, or throwing links at us, yes he once gave a link to the site WHEN ASKED, (and I believe that was the one and only time). I'm surley not going back to read them but I don't think he ever once said hey e-mail me Joe and I'll hook you up, Lou dump that system and buy ours, Frank I'll give you a special deal. Lets look at our latest Vendor, how many months was Apten here selling product, how many ports were talked about and done when they were not vendors. Prob well over a hundred Eatons were Ported and talked about, a matter of fact it was us the people that insisted they become a Vendor.
(NOT TO TAKE WRONG, APTEN IS AN AWESOME CO, WITH AN AWESOME PRODUCT, JUST COMPARING OUR LATEST VENDOR)

I want to personally thank Denny, Race Tested, AND F-150 (Doug, Steve, Tech) for allowing us to get through this.
Denny is the only one that could've help me through this, (for obvious reasons, I'm the test L, and no one else has one)

Now lets not forget Denny is still welcome here and quite free to talk about his Nitrous experiences, and yes even a mention of his product, what he's not allowed to do is peddle his product, AND HE HASN'T.

THANKS F-150, THANKS DENNY, THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE SUPPORT
