I highly recommend you upgrade to our solenoids if you go the progressive route.

I had no problem with racetested helping you with your new nitrous setup. But if he's gonna use the board to advertise, then he needs to be a SV.

This is the beauty of our solenoids. They are the only ones designed to be pulsed. Which means they have a better coil, plunger seat material, and are matched to pulse at the same rate. Any other solenoid is not matched to be pulse matched and your nitrous/fuel ratio could bounce all over the place. Other solenoids only need to open and close during a run which means very minimal effort.

Just setting the record straight! I hope he helps you get it installed correctly! And I hope he becomes a SV too!
As Rob said I merely suggested things to people for "their" benefit. You forgot to leave out the qoute where the guy wanted to go progressive and I know his current solenoids will fail eventually from pulsing and could blow his motor. This is a big difference then just trying to sell for the sake of a sale.
As you can see I even spent my holiday weekend trying to help. I didn't just let Rob figure it out himself and I do this for every customer. So when a helpful post gets closed down because a week is not enough to be replied back to for supporting vendor status irritates me a bit. I wouldn't even think about letting a customer go a day without being replied back to let alone a full week and counting. Pretty much my money just needs to be taken so it shows I'm committed, not seeing the difficuty there and why it takes so long.

3 people hot on it already, it's gonna go fast, MAKE AN OFFER...
Rob,
I should get my kit early this week. Once I get it hooked up I'll take some pics and show you how it went. I still need to get a bottle warmer, but I have everything else...including the tach adapter and window switch. I'm going to start off with a straight 75 shot and wait for the new progressive controller. Hopefully I'll move up to about a 150shot progressive. Let me know how it feels once you give a test run.

Sounds like your READY TO RUMBLE,
I had a window switch someone here hooked me up with,
but never got the adt I needed, or the plug in rpm chips it takes, so I never got to use it. I don't know how I would have wired it ?
Looking back, "nothing" is as easy to hook up as the 3 wire Zex System, but when you think about it I did the entire Race Tested installation yesterday in one day, thats pretty dam good if you asked me. WOO HOO
I installed my homemade bracket,
re-installed the Solenoids,
installed the Minimax and TP1
Wired it all up 100%, and ran the lines .
I would have tested it but as said we decided to switch to the large 5mm line for fuel too, that should be here today or tommorrow and will take all of 2 minutes to hook up.
Can't wait to see your set up
WAY TO GO BRO..........
BEST OF LUCK AND CONGRATS

Rob,
A window switch won't be as useful on the L, since you have an auto. I didn't use one in my Lightning either. The main reason I am installing one in the Cobra is not to hit the rev limiter on the juice. The Lightning should shift fine on it's own and not touch below 3k rpms between shifts.

JimJr,
I see your a pleasant person. I won't even go any further as I'd rather spend my energy on decent guys like Rob and the others that have been open minded and fun to work with. I don't even see why you felt the need to post your comment as it was pointless.
An rpm switch is not needed as you should be shifting much earlier with nitrous anyway and not getting close to the limiter. There should be no worries off activation as long as you are in the right gear and accelerating forward. Then the nitorus will not hurt your motor.

Denny, keep the info coming, JR
Looks like I may never become a supporting vendor and will let Sal or someone else take care of promotion. I was told I need to be on the forum for a full year to become a supporting vendor. Sounds ridiculous to me as that is a long time and I have many different people to work with and not just an F150 truck.
