When I was at the local track the other dy they did not have enough water in the trench. So as a result only my right side slick had water on it. Did a burn out only to see a friend in the stands tell me to kill it. Turns out I was doing a one wheel smoke show as a result of one slick haveing water on it and the other being dry. I thought to myself thats a good way to hurt the clutch pack.

I went one more time alone and same results (the guys at the track where too "busy" to add water

I then had my friend add some water for me and everything was fine. I also tride launching hard on the streets with street tires and was happy to see to black patches on the ground rather then one.

Who know by how much I shortend the life of the cluctches though

Sorry for the rant.

Don, I was going to leave a couple of marks in the lot when visiting Fatty Mcbutterpnats (Arthur) last week but didn't see your truck, and the lot was full. But now that I know it's OK... J/K, I may be in next week and would like another peek at your gauge setup.

If you see a light blue olds delta 88.....that's mine. I dont' always drive the truck to work, especially if there's chance of rain.

No! Sorry for the confusion.

I had the carrier rebuilt and installed the Girdle and Line Loc to help PREVENT it from happening again.

I wish Line Loc kits for our vehicle were available sooner.

Someone recently told me to always look at the left tire first to see if both are spinning. It seems the driver side is almost always the one NOT to spin in a one wheel burnout.
If I see the left spinning I glance over to see the right side.
So far this seems to be a good tip.
